It's a very beautiful cathedral which fits St Petersburg perfectly and you can see it from almost every spot in the city. It's one of the finest and largest domed cathedrals in Europe. The cathedral was built during 1818-1858 years by the architect Auguste de Montferrand in honor of St. Isaac of Dalmatia.

It's located in the heart of St Petersburg 5 minute walk from the main square of the city (The Palace Square) through the Alexander Garden .The cathedral is beautiful from outside as well as from inside, so it's definitely worth checking its insides. (The ticket will cost you about 4 EUR)
Don't forget to vist The colonnade of the cathedral (2 EUR extra), as it will allow you to enjoy the breathtaking view of the city!
