If you're starving somewhere near Mariinsky theatre, "Senoval" ("hayloft" in English) is one of the best places to go to. It's usually overcrowded during launch time and evenings despite the fact that there are plenty of tables. So people are standing in line for 10-15 minutes. But the service is super quick!

Why you should visit it
European and asian cuisine, local beer and cheap alcoholic cocktails are main positions in the menu. Vegetarians will find here a spicy vegetable quesadilla (about 1.8 euros), mushroom and pumpkin soups (about 2.6 euros), meat lovers - Stuttgart's sausages (about 3 euros), chicken curry (about 4 euros). All portions are big and served really well.

It's said that you can find this place on Moyka embankment(the official address), but it's on Fonarny lane.
