Description
After meeting your local guide and driver in your hotel lobby, you’ll set off to Tsarskoye Selo in a private vehicle.
Driving along the narrow shaded streets of this little town where Alexander Pushkin, a famous Russian poet, once studied and lived, you’ll pass the Egyptian Gate, which previously marked the main entrance of the Tsarskoye Selo imperial residence, and the Feodorovsky citadel.
You’ll enter the Catherine Palace via a spectacular courtyard (which offers great photo opportunities), continuing through the Golden Enfilade and grand palace interiors to the main staircase.
You’ll then see the Amber Room, and the private rooms of Alexander I and Paul I (please note that the museum reserves the right to close these rooms without notice).
Following your palace tour, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a relaxing walk in the park.
You’ll be driven back to St Petersburg at the end of the tour.
