This was a small group tour (in fact it was only us and an additional person) of Pushkin over 5-6 hours. We had Olga as our guide and she was brilliant. She gave the right level of information and told us stories to keep us entertained. Highly recommended!

The original owners were women: Catherine I – wife of Peter I, Elisabeth I – their daughter, and Catherine II. After inheriting Tsarskoe Selo, Elizabeth I treated it with special affection and named the palace she commissioned to be built after her mother: Catherine Palace.
Catherine Palace is an impressive baroque reconstruction featuring rooms decorated with gold and mirrors. During your visit, you’ll have a unique opportunity to see the breathtaking Amber Room.
