Why locals love it
Valenki (felt boots) is one of the signatures for traditional Russian countryside winter. You won't see them that often in the city, but they are incredibly cute and comfy and it's the only factory shop in the city with pretty good choice

Why you should visit it
Could be an opportunity for finding a cool souvenir or just getting yourself a pair of new super soft slippers. It's also part of the Maltzevsky market (operating since 1960), which could be interesting to check out
Special tip
Entering the market, go to the left and upstairs. If you buy valenki, do get them 1 size bigger and don't forget that it's a cash only place
