Why locals love it
The garden was laid out in 18th c. as a part of Yusupov's mansion, but was later sold to the state. For the first time it was opened for the public in the middle of 19th c. and it's still one of the magic spots, that locals love so much, since there is quite a lack of greenery in the city center.

Why you should visit it
Apart from being a perfect place for a picnic in the middle of the city, it's also interesting as one of cultural heritage objects of Russia. By the way, at its lake the first world championship on figure skating took place in 1896.
