Second-hand hunting is so popular in Sweden that you could call it a national pastime, with prices reflecting its popularity. Unlike flea markets in most other first world countries, Stockholms Stadsmission's primary clientele doesn’t appear to be the underprivileged, but instead savvy shoppers and dare I say it, cashed-up students.
Why you should visit it
This place is packed to the brim with second-hand clothing, shoes and accessories, kitchenware, books, bric-a-brac and furniture. Allow yourself a couple of hours for some serious rummaging and it’s likely you’ll end up with all manner of Scandinavian delights.
