As your local Stockholm host, we spend the day together to experience the Swedish art of good living :
-we board the ferry from The City Hall , a short walk from the Old Town for a mini cruise ( around 50 ' ) across the Lake Mälaren and enjoy the the view of the lush green islands .
- Once on-shore , we visit the Royal Residence Drottningholm (open daily from 10:00 to 5 pm) and around the Royal Park designed according to 1800 century Baroque syle.
We’ll explore the city together and see what you’d most like to ( The Royal Palace but you can certainly have a look around this Baroque beauty).
Stroll through the colourful cobbled streets of Gamla Stan, complete with medieval cathedral, then perhaps let the afternoon take a more bohemian turn and explore a trendy neighbourhood like Södermalm.
Discover some secret spots that only a local can point you - I will share with you my favourite places to eat, drink and hang out. Indulge in lunch at a spot that suits what you’re in the mood for - pickled herring, perhaps? - then take things down a notch and have fika.
This local past-time is all about slowing down and enjoying coffee, cake and good conversation.
