This squared off green patch lies in the heart of the city's most bent and asymmetrical suburb. It's Newtown's back yard. And from the north, south, east and west they come: walking their staffies, playing frisbees with their bandmates, eating cheese and watching the sunset, or singing songs with Puff the Magic Dragon.
One of the best things about Sydney is the weather. We get an average of 236 days of sunshine each year. And if you can't make it to the beach, or can't be bothered to travel there (or can't deal with the crowds!), then why not head here with a picnic and good tunes instead? I can guarantee that life doesn't get much better.
There are plenty of bars nearby; Dendy cinemas is just across the road; and you'll find incredible gelato on King St too.
