It outlived (and outwitted) those bricks and mortar behemoths, withstanding the slings and arrows of the Amazonian militia. Why you should visit it
They're the leading independent bookseller in Sydney for a reason. Several actually, but here are the top three: 1) They stock a mind-bending array of books, satisfying the most specialised nerds; 2) If they don't have it on site there's nothing the crew can't find; 3) They regularly host nerd porn events: book launches, symposiums etc.
Special tip
Sappho Books is next door, with tonnes of juicy, secondhand titles... and a wine bar! Glebe Markets is on in the school across the road every Saturday
