There was a time when our CBD was a dead zone on weeknights. The ants would evacuate the office buildings and retreat to the suburbs, those boundless plains of banality. There were bars, of course; you could whet your whistle after a long day tap-a-tap-a-tapping. But they were a) bland, or b) overpriced. Both lacked soul. Then, along came Mojo!
Why you should visit it
The manifesto's simple: eargasmic records, flavourlicious drinks, good times. But simple things are often the hardest to pull off. That's why Mojo's such a treat - cool, but not too cool. It's pitch perfect, whether you're meeting for drinks after work, stopping in on the way to somewhere else or drooling over their impressive collection of vinyl.
