Why there are so many companies that has "Star" on their name in Sydney?
(1 )Hi, I saw a lot of companies or shops that has the word "Star" on their name. I am wondering why. Is it just coincidence or historical background behind it?
Such as:
Star Casino
Star Express
Star Mart
Star Bar
Star Car Wash and so on...

Welcome to Sydney (or hopefully you enjoyed your visit).
I'd say it's the association with stars of the southern cross on our flag. I don't believe there is a specific historical background.
