Spit Bridge to Manly Walk

Why locals love it

On a sunny afternoon, there's nothing more spectacular than taking in the vistas of the harbour whilst completing the Spit Bridge to Manly Walk. Passing through some of the bushland still remaining on Sydney Harbour, perhaps with a stop along the way for a harbour swim, at walk's end there are plenty of bars in Manly to relax at.

Why you should visit it

Take in some of Sydney's bushland without leaving the city, plus the chance to look at Aboriginal engravings. Easily accessible by bus at the start (just across the Spit Bridge at Clontarf) and with the option to return to the city by the Manly ferry (ends at Manly Ferry Wharf).

Special tip

Leave earlier in the day to allow you enough time to swim at Manly Beach afterwards.
