There may be a chandelier at the top of The Metro's mile-high staircase - shiny disco ball! - but this venue's renowned for being rough 'n' tumble. In a good way; everyone's been to The Metro and most people remember the fun they had. It's hard not to. The amphitheatre layout gives you crystal clear views of the stage from just about everywhere.

You could probably see these acts at a festival with dozens of others to boot - a lot of performances on here are festival sideshows - but The Metro offers something festivals just can't.
