A truly local gem, this noodles place is tucked away in an alley near Taipei 101. It offers possibly the spiciest noodles in all of Taiwan. There are four levels of spicy on the menu: very light (輕輕), light (輕), medium (中), and very spicy (重). There are also small plates and non-spicy options if someone in your party is not a fan of spicy.
Why you should visit it
If you love spicy, this is a great place to try a special kind of "numbing" spicy. It is also a great place to try some local delicacies like chicken intestines, thousand-year egg, etc.
Special tip
If you can finish very spicy noodles and prove it, you can try the ultimate spicy challenge. Not recommended if pregnant/have preexisting med problems
