Controvento is known amongst locals as one of the best Italian restaurants in town. Run by a Sicilian chef Controvento is slightly more democratic and easy-going than the upmarket and more expensive Bocca and La Bottega, but by no means compromises on quality.
St Catherine's Passage is worth a visit itself, but you can also enjoy it while having a nice dinner. Being located in this gorgeous passageway, Controvento blows you away with its romantic atmosphere and variety of authentic Italian dishes and wines, complete with a laid-back attitude.
To enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the St Catherine's Passage in summer, it's recommended to book ahead!
