I will arriving in Tallinn June 27. My plan is to travel around Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania before meeting my friend in Poland. Would like to see St. Petersburg too, if easy enough. I heard it's possible to take a ferry from Tallinn-St. Petersburg. Is this true? Do you recommend? Any information would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

If you travel in Estonia I would definitely recommend you take a day trip to the Lahemaa National Park and you can also travel between the Baltic capitals through a day tour that takes you through the countryside with several stops. So great option to discover the country if you're in a hurry.

Yes it is possible. The company doing it is St Peters Line. You can find it in Google. The boat schedule is better if you depart from Helsinki, but you can check the schedule and pricing from their website.

Otherwise St Petersburg is a great city and if you have never been to Russia it would definitely be interesting. The Baltics are very different from Russia, although we uses to be part of the SU.
