Hello,

I'm doing a school project in which I have to make a citytrip. I chose for Tallinn and now i'm looking for a unique activity/tour in Tallinn that cannot be found online. I was hoping somebody with local knowledge might have an idea or tip for something unique that other travelagencies dont really use?

Many thanks for your help!!!

Hi,
Thank you for your answers. I dont really have a target group (was planning on people interested in culture (old buildings/tours). I also had some activities planned, but my teacher wants me to come up with something unique that tourists cannot do on their own (a reason to specificaly choose my trip, it doesn't have to exist yet.). So I'm trying to find this unique thing and maybe make my target group around it? It would be for groups of maximum 6 people (can still be changed).

Hopefully this extra information helps a bit?
Thank you for your help

Hi Indra. I know two travelling bloggers who managed to find a chimney sweeper that took them on a walk on the roofs of Tallinn old town. You can easily hop from one roof to another. That could be something unique :)

As a tour organizer i can tell you that coming up with interesting ideas is much easier to actually find people to do it.

One interesting place in Tallinn is Linnahall. It’s a huge Soviet concert hall that’s pretty much amandoned now. Inside there’s a massive concert hall, red comfy chairs etc. Visiting that is also pretty cool, but you need to find someone who manages the house and could let u in. It’s officially not open.

There are other stuff like that to find.
thank you for your answer!! it's really helpfull and exactly the kind of thing I was looking for :) I'll also take a look if I can find other stuff like you mentioned

Hello! Maybe you can go to Keila waterfall or Rummu abandoned prison, or go to Viru raba. Or just in Tallinn to Telliskivi:)

Hello Indra! I believe first think who is your target group. What kind of interest these people have and then find out locations in Tallinn what could get these people attention. Good luck!

Some unique activities in Estonia:
- driving on ice roads during winter
- swimming in a bog or simply walking in the bog
- finding places with soviet memorabilia
- visiting the tiny islands (islets)
I'm pretty sure that there are tour companies out there that offer these, but I don't think it's possible to find an activity that no one offers.

Hi, Indra. You should specify more what kind of stuff are you interested, what's your budget per person and how many people in total. I'm from Tallinn Traveller Tours and we organise off the beaten path tours and activities. You can contact me through the messages under my profile or we can discuss here under the question, but would really need a bit more information for that :)

Well, as a locals, I suspect we don't know much about what tourist agencies are offering. So it would be nice to have an idea of what is already out there. Can you share?
