It's only about 15 minutes by tram: https://goo.gl/4uR8hR
Be sure to catch tram nr 2 in the direction of Kopli. You can buy a ticket from the driver and it costs 2€.

If you are a group of 3-4 people, then it's probably cheaper to share a taxi. Otherwise tram is more convenient, in my opinion.

Uber would probably cost around 3-5 euros.

Taxify is not the same as Uber, right? Pardon me, we only have Uber and Grabcar in Southeast Asia...so not very familiar.

You can take the tram number 2. You can buy the ticket from the tram driver, the price is €2.

If you want to take a taxi, I would recommend you to use the Uber or Taxify app. That way the ride should be about €3-4, could be a bit more during peak hours. You can take a taxi in front of the coach station as well, but it will cost you more, maybe €6-7.

Thank you Kalev, does the taxi run on meters? Or it is a fixed price? Thank you in advance

In this case, I probably will need to buy a SIM card. Can I buy it at the Coach Station? Any particular brand and what is the price? Thank you

Taxify works like Uber. If you have Uber app, then you can use that as well. Taxify just has more drivers. There's free wifi at the coach station, so you can make the order without the sim card as well.

If you want to buy a sim, then Smart should be the best option I think.
Great info, thanks very much

Can I just get a taxi from outside the International Coach Station without booking one in advance?
However, if I use the tram, how much is the cost and do I buy the ticket after boarding?

There are taxis waiting outside the bus terminal, but they are a bit more expensive than the ones you can get with Taxify app. If you have Uber already set up in your phone, I think it's easier for you to just order Uber (free WiFi inside bus terminal). You can also purchase a prepaid SIM card from R-kiosk, which is right there in the terminal.

Tram tickets are 2€ per trip and you can buy them after boarding from the driver. If your are planning to use the public transportation more during your stay, then purchase the green Smartcard from R-kiosk. The card costs 2€ and there are different options (pay as you go, 1-, 3-, 5-day tickets etc). More info here: http://www.tallinn.ee/eng/pilet/Ticket-information-for-tourists
