Why locals love it
Honestly, I hate shopping malls. But if going through the Viru Center is the price I have to pay to get to the Rahva Raamat bookshop that expands over the 3rd and 4th floor of it – I'll do it. It's not only a place with the largest selection of Estonian and English books, but a great place to pick up travel-related gifts and other neat things.
Why you should visit it
Who doesn't love bookstores? If you want to take home a book written by a local author, they have several titles of Estonian novels in English, as well as cookbooks with local recipes and some creative items from Estonian designers.
