Why locals love it
The first time I walked through the door all I could smell was freshly baked rye bread, which I later got to try and it was delicious. Nothing makes you feel more at home than that. It is a perfect place for anything - a quick coffee in the morning or a nice dinner in the evening.
Why you should visit it
The location is perfect for travellers as it is located right in the old town, but still feels quiet like being in the country side. While visiting Estonia our famous rye bread alone is a must, but Rukis also offers other traditional Estonian foods with a modern twist to try.
Special tip
If a classic oatmeal porridge isn't always your first choice then Rukis also makes a delicious Eggs Benedict.
