Best of Tallinn: 3-Hour Walking Tour

Tallinn is a fascinating city full of contrasts, and this walking tour gives you the chance to discover them all in just 3 hours. It’s a great option if you have limited time but still want to see all of the main sights.
Duration 3 hours
Private tour available in Estonian, English
Group tour pricing from 20 EUR per person
Our cruise ship was docking in Tallinn for a short day and we wanted to see the main sights without being herded around on a cruise ship tour. After a quick internet review and consideration of a few options we selected a private walking tour, offered by Tallinn Traveller Tours. We were met at the main information office, having previously been supplied with detailed instructions of how to walk from the ship. We actually took a free shuttle and after our walk we were taken back to the bus stop and put on the bus. Our young guide was passionate about Estonia and very knowledgeable about her city. There was so much to see and she was so keen to show us that we walked continually for just over 3 hours without even a stop for coffee. Everyhthing about the walk and rthe arrangements was perfection.

Description

This tour takes you through Tallinn’s medieval Old Town where you’ll visit important landmarks and hear many colourful tales about the city, its history and its people.

After the medieval madness you’ll walk through the historical Kalamaja neighbourhood, which features charming wooden houses, Soviet-era industrial landscapes and well-hidden retreats.

This tour is a perfect introduction to the contrasting faces of Tallinn. Our young and entertaining guides will take you to important landmarks and show you places that you’d never stumble across on your own. They’ll also share personal stories about Estonia from the perspective of the local youth.

Our family booked a private basic 3 hour walking tour of Tallinn. It was a great way to see the city and get some fun information without getting boring. We enjoyed our tour and our guide Ann (blonde Ann) was great!
We would rate our tour of Tallinn as 5+.
Mairi (forgive me if I misspelled her name.) was professional, informative, had a great sense of humor and because of her recommendation, we had a totally amazing meal at Leib Restaurant. Thank you.
