We had a wonderful tour of Tallinn. Ulane showed us all of the attractions and showed us such a good time. Fun for the whole family. This tour was also the favorite of my daughters, who are 10 and 8, as they really enjoyed Ulane. You could not go wrong touring Tallinn with Ulane, or one of the other guides in her tour company.

Although we had visited Tallinn several years ago while on a cruise, we were looking forward to a return visit with another couple. At the last minute the husband of the other couple was hospitalized and unable to join us. As planned my wife and I took the ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn for a day and were met at the ferry terminal by our guide. I lost her name, but it was something like Rezilli. I had arranged for the Old town-modern city tour. Unfortunately, the weather was horrible: Cold, rainy and windy. Having seen the old town, which hadn't undergone much change since our first visit, we spent most of our time touring the modern city and environs, leaving the van when the rain stopped or became a drizzle. The weather did enable us to converse with our guide over coffee in an Old Town coffee shop. Our guide was excellent, and I found our conversation about the Russian population in Tallinn to be especially interesting. A note on business practices: Since there were two instead of the planned four persons for the tour, the per person charge was more for my wife and me. However, rather than charge us the full amount for a two-person tour, Tallinn Traveller adjusted the price downward to somewhere between the two and four-person rates. I commend Tallinn Traveller for the equitable way it dealt with our situation and suggest that prospective visitors consider that action as reflective of its good customer service. TT also refunded half the payment of the original sum that I had paid since the other couple was unable to tour.
We had a very good tour with Ann (hope I spelled the name right). She showed us all the interesting sights and told us a lot about Estonia, the culture and the political situation. Very competent and clever and nice girl.
