You’ll hear stories about our medieval government and one of the oldest pharmacies in the world on Town Hall Square, and witness medieval handicraft traditions in St. Catherine’s Passage.
In the Upper Town you’ll see the Toompea Castle, which now houses the Estonian Parliament. You’ll also see the Russian Orthodox Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and the Gothic Dome Church, the oldest church in Tallinn, and visit a viewing platform where you’ll experience a magnificent panorama over the Old Town and the most beautiful residences of the nobles.
From the Upper Town you’ll stroll down the hill to the Danish King’s Garden – one of the most romantic places in in the city. The tour ends next to the Viru Gate.
