Your local guide will lead you into a captivating world heritage site with its maze of cobblestone streets and fascinating stories bound to feed your curiosity with endless knowledge. The heart of the city is a lively hub influenced by centuries of tradition and unique Baltic Sea culture as an ancient merchants port.
The itinerary continues with an introduction of historic and modern Tallinn as you stroll on narrow streets following the fortified town wall and lookout towers. The centrally located Town Hall Square, still a vibrant gathering place for many cultural events held throughout the year, is home to the only preserved medieval Gothic Town Hall in the Baltic and Scandinavian region. You will also cast a view on the tallest spire in the world at the time of it’s construction which belongs to St Olav’s church and Tallinn’s only fortress church, Niguliste, founded by German merchants in the 13th century. The upper old town, also known as the Toompea Hill, treats us with even more enchanting views of beautiful coastline and a medieval city straight out of a fairy tale. Highlights along the way include the Estonian Parliament and St. Mary's Cathedral.
