Our guide, Leah, was knowledgeable and flexible sharing both the country/vity’s History but her own perspective as well. We had fantastic conversations over meals as well as feeling comfortable to stop along our rides to take photos or pop into a shop. If you only have a day to explore this wonderful, vibrant city, this tour is a must!

Learn about the local cuisine and eating habits

Taste a variety of typical Estonian dishes

Description

Estonian cuisine consists of historical staples such as kama (a mix of roasted flours) and, over the centuries, has been influenced by various occupiers and neighbours, including Germany, Russia, Sweden and Finland.

On a modern Estonian table, you’ll typically find pork, potatoes, meat soups, delicious dumplings and countless cakes.

We have a love/hate relationship with fish, but at any proper birthday party you’ll find herring with sour cream. Yum!

We’re pretty good at making black bread, and you should see what we can do with curds.

On this tour we’ll try these snacks together and finish with a beer in the bar above our office.

Note: We have a minimum 2 participants. If you book for one person then we will accept it when there are more people booked! If not then we will have to cancel the tour.
