My friends and I did the morning "Welcome to Tallinn" tour and saw the sights of Old Town, Kadriorg park, Singing Festival grounds and rode along the shore. It was an excellent tour of a cute storybook town. The tour guide was very informative and even entertained us with a song! The bikes were a little on the older side, but still very comfortable and safe. I definitely recommend this tour!

Description

The tour begins at the City Bike office in the Old Town. Our first stop is the 500-year-old Fat Margaret cannon tower tucked in a corner of Tallinn’s medieval centre. We’ll then make our way to the seaside, passing the Yacht Harbour and the Kochi Aidad warehouse complex.

We’ll then continue on to Kadriorg – one of the most-loved residential areas of Tallinn. After visiting Kadriorg Palace and enjoying a short walk in the surrounding gardens, we’ll head to the Presidential Palace, stopping by the KUMU Art Museum along the way. We’ll then cycle through Kadriorg Park, passing the Song Festival Grounds and Pirita beach.

Cycling along the beautiful seaside promenade on our way back to the Old Town, we’ll pass the Olympic Sailing Centre and a typical Soviet war memorial. We’ll also make a few stops to admire views of the Old Town and see the Russalka Memorial before heading back to the City Bike office.

My mother and I signed up for the Tallinn bike tour on a recent trip to Estonia. We lucked out with perfect, sunny weather. There were six in our group and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We really appreciated the opportunity to get out of the crowded Old Town to see a bit more of "real" Tallinn. We biked up along the coast which provided a great view looking back at the city. Highly recommended.
The guide was very good and showed us lots of your beautiful city Tallinn. He even gave us a great recommendation for lunch afterwards.
