The tour company (Tallinn Traveller) normally has a 4-person minimum, so I was very grateful that they still ran this tour even though there were only 2 of us. Our guide, Marju, was very kind and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the sights, especially since I had done the Lahemaa tour the day before, so I was a bit worried that it might be too similar, but the two tours complemented each other very nicely. This tour focused more on culture and religious history and life outside of the capital. I especially enjoyed that you could get up close & personal with all of the sights, especially the Padise monastery. I would highly recommend this tour to learn more about Estonia outside of Tallinn, just be aware that if it's not the tourist high season, it may not be offered.

From a nuclear missile base to a mysterious old manor house, there are many things to discover on a day trip to Haapsalu. Once the resort capital of Estonia, it’s now a hotspot for Finnish spa enthusiasts as well as the favourite town of most Estonians.

On this tour you’ll see Western Estonia’s beautiful nature and coastline, well-preserved ruins of a medieval monastery and Haapsalu’s picturesque promenade. You’ll also get the chance to discover long-forgotten castles and an abandoned nuclear missile base.

Our young and entertaining guides will show you places that you would never stumble across on your own and share personal stories about Estonia from the perspective of the local youth.

All of our day trips are for small groups of up to eight people. You’ll be driven around in a car or minivan.

Interesting tour led by excellent guide
We really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Marju was highly knowledgeable and having a small group meant we could ask any questions we wanted, as well as get some insight into the culture and daily lives of Estonians. Hearing stories relating to the sights was a good way to learn about Estonia's political history. Marju was a safe driver and very friendly. She took us to a nice lunch place that catered for vegetarians.

Without a doubt, I give the tour a 5. The guides were great fun, very thoughtful, and very knowledgeable. The itinerary had several unique stops which made me feel like I saw the real Estonia. I've already told my friends about you. Keep up the great work!!!
