Tucked away in the very heart of bohemian Karlova, this place hides on the first floor of Tartu Center for Creative Industries. Hence you could probably call it the perfect place for meeting local people with great ideas. Of course normal people eat here, too. But I have to warn you, this sort of creativeness can be contagious.
Stylish, yet modest, Café Spargel is one of the places rejecting those intimidating white tablecloths. Although having a bit more of a cozy café feeling to it, Spargel surely offers top notch restaurant meals. Their legendary lunch offers can also bring around people from the other side of Emajõgi.
Their chantarelle risotto made me believe in love at first sight.
