This is the most authentic traditional bazar in Tashkent. It is located on the place where the city was established and it always played the central role in Tashkent's life. Here you can find everything you need - the grocery market, the traditional clothings market, china shops, the hardware, jewelry shops, handicraft shops, fabric stores etc.

Why you should visit it
Although Chorsu market is very popular among tourists, it is still a place where you can see the real oriental marketplace. It is the bazar where most of the locals, especially from the Old Town do their shoppings.
Special tip
Try some street food on Obzhornye ryady (glutton arcade). A bit greasy, smoky and smelly place but the food here is delicious!
