Why locals love it
Biblusi is a high quality bookstore chain found throughout Georgia. The location on Chavchavadze Ave. has a great cafe upstairs that's perfect for chilling on your laptop, reading a book, and enjoying a piece of cake. They also have a selection of wines on the first level!
Why you should visit it
Here you can find some classics of Georgian literature in English, such as 'Vepkhistk'aosani" (Knight in the Panther's/Tiger's Skin). They also have souvenirs - magnets, mugs, bookmarks, etc. It's not particularly cheap, but if you are limited on time and want a pretty large selection in one place, Biblusi is a good option!
Special tip
The Vake is an expat favorite, more upscale neighborhood, and prices match, but the cafe is still worth spending some time (and money) in!
