The largest church of Georgia is located on a hill and offers beautiful views over the old town. Because of its dimensions and detailed design, it´s great for photography. Inside the church you can find some of the most important relics and icons from Georgian Christian history - the Jvari cross or the pearl made miniature of Jerusalem.
There is a bakery in the yard of the church, where you can find traditional Khachapuri pies and the original Lagidze soda drinks
