Thanks .. isn't it wet and raining season in March?
i'm not too much for skiing; only want to experience the snow and to see the mountains
you can see snowy mountains (so both wishes would be satisfied ;) March is not a much rainy season, just spoiling month, with character (like women ;) unpredictable, this is maybe the best word to describe this month .., end of May and the first half of June is much more rainy. from Tbilisi, you can visit other cities and towns in Kakheti and Kartli regions. Canyons etc are far from Tbilisi, mainly located in the west part of the country.

Thanks a lot INGA; your insights are very helpful and encouraging .. i will be with my family (wife and 2 daughters) .. my plan is to stay 6 nights in Georgia; 3 nights in Tbilisi .. i wonder which city you recommend to stay in the other 3 nights ? .. i'm more on sightseeing not the beach and resorts
Dear Osama, as you are traveling with your family, out of Tbilisi the best options to stay is Telavi or Signagi (for Kakheti tour), Kazbegi or Gudauri (for snowy Caucasus mountains tour) and Borjomi or Bakuriani for other beatuful mountains and pine tree forest, beautiful park etc tour. If you are interested in more details we can continue in pm. by email or whatsup, whatever you prefer.
Welcome, I am glad you've choose Georgia for the family touring!
