The funicular is the easiest, fastest and funnest way to get to Mtatsminda. Though prone to shutdowns, being an easy uphill walk from the Parliament on Rustaveli, it's worth seeing if it's in operation. This will take you to the place with the best views of Tbilisi, where you can see all the way to Kazbegi mountain.

Abanotubani is the place where Tbilisi started, and exactly those sulfur springs were the reason why King Gorgasali decided to found the town there. You are really touching the history while going to bath.
Beside that, it's just really healthy, and helps you reload a bit after a long trip or some days of overeating and overdrinking.

The interior is so awesome that you can spend a lot of time not eating, but looking around. The food is delicious, though.
Generally, Gabriadze's idea was: "one single coffee bean could be fried all day long, filling the theater with its aroma”. And yes, it's double so nice to enjoy a cup of coffee before or after the marionette performance!

Its a great place to find/sell/buy many unique, handmade, (not-necessarily) artsy things and meet young Georgian artists. Its is different from the permanent flea market which is located over Dry Bridge at Deda Ena Park This is more like an event which takes place in every two weeks.

The nature here is beautiful, as are the fountains. When there's not a festival here, there's usually one at the ethnographic museum, which is directly above it - about a 30 minute walk through a forest. There are also several beer gardens throughout, and it's a terrific place for exercise.
