Guide was very knowledgeable not only about areas we visited but other Georgian historical facts. Enjoyed having lunch with the group and meeting new people. I would have liked more time in Rabati and less in Borjormi. Many times I felt the driving was unnecessarily fast and sitting in the back of the van without a seat belt we had to hold on to something to avoid being tossed into other passengers.

Description

Tour starts at 08:00 by picking up guests from hotels in Kutaisi. The first stop is in Surami where we taste Georgian sweet bread “Nazuki”. They show us how it’s made and give us some to test. Afterwards we visit Borjomi central park. Here we are able to test mineral water from springs. After walking in the park we are heading to Rabati castle. We explore medieval castle with local guide who tells us about history and structure of it. For lunch we stop at local restaurant. The last destination is Vardzia – City of caves. When all rooms of the complex are explored we return back to Kutaisi. At 22:00 we drop off guests at hotel.
