This was one of the best tours we ever experienced! Our tour guide Luka was very pleasant to spend the day with and gave us all the time we needed to enjoy every site. He drove well and provided great information about Georgia and it’s culture! The tour itself couldn’t have been better as every place we visited had something unique to offer. Enjoy a full day of nature in the Caucasus Mountains. The route follows the famous Georgian military highway, which is considered to be one of the most scenic roads in Georgia.
The route is full of beautiful sights and experiences, including the Ananuri Fort, which dates back to the early Middle Ages, the clear-blue Jinvali Reservoir, mineral water springs, the lush Gudauri resort area, the elegant Archangels monastery at the Georgian-Russian border, the mystical Darial Gorge, and the village of Stepantsminda.
We’ll hike through a beautiful, virgin gorge for about 40 minutes to reach the great Gveleti Waterfall.
You’ll also have the chance to try some of the best khinkali dumplings around in the village that’s famous for this dish.
If time permits, we can add additional stops!
