In the middle of the 19th century, Tbilisi (Tiflis) was a multicultural city where Georgians, Germans, Armenians, Greeks, Italians, Poles, and Russians lived together in peace.

Because of its bohemian atmosphere, Tiflis attracted many writers, musicians, and actors, and was known as ‘the city that never sleeps’.

We’ll explore the bohemian part of old Tiflis, where Knut Hamsun lived. We’ll also visit the German colony – Neu Tiflis – and try to find out what happened in 1901, when Edvard Munch's muse was murdered in Tbilisi.

Thanks for an awesome tour!
Exciting, informative and fun tour full of unique stories, small details and local secrets.
As last time unforgettable
Mari prepares her guides with much love, knowledge and dedication; They are therefore a pleasant change to the pure tourism sightseeing. This time we went through the German quarter of Tbilisi to a very nice Museum of theatre art.
If you’re a first timer in Georgia then Mari is the right tour guide for you. I totally recommend her! She is not only well versed about Georgia but she is the most helpful and fun guide I have ever had. I got in touch with her a month before the holidays and she was very quick and personalized our tours. I especially fell in love with Georgia because of Mari, she knows exactly where to take you and what food to try. Thank you so much for the awesome experience!

Wonderful tour, delicious wine
Mariam and her driver George took us on a wonderful day trip out of Tbilisi. We enjoyed gaining an insight into Georgian culture and history - and winemaking - and tasting the products thereof at excellent wineries around Signagi.

Thank you to Mariam for her excellent knowledge and presentation, and to George for his safe driving.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour.
Fantastic insight into Old and New Tbilisi
Mari is a intelligent and insightful guide. She showed us some lesser known sights of Tbilisi linked it with the complex history of this fascinating country, She is well educated and could answer our myriad of questions. She helped us buy tickets to the Ballet from the Tbilisi opera house and recommended some great restaruants. Thank you Mari. Great Tour. Great Guide.
