The day begins with a walking tour of the Old Town, where we’ll see the Holy Trinity Cathedral (the third-tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedral in the world) and the 6th-century Metekhi Church. We’ll also take the cable car to Narikala Fortress and visit the Botanical Garden. Afterwards, we’ll wander through the sulphur bath district, witness how Georgian bread is made, and pass by the Puppet Theatre.
Next, we’ll stop for lunch at a traditional Georgian restaurant, and then explore Tbilisi’s main thoroughfares by car: Freedom Square, Rustaveli Avenue, Agmashenebeli Avenue, the Dry Bridge Flea Market, the Bridge of Peace, Gorgasali Street, and Europe Square.
Finally, we’ll head to Mount Mtatsminda for beautiful views over Tbilisi.
