Hello, I’m Maria, a private travel guide in Georgia. Tbilisi became my home 6 years ago and ever since then I’ve been exploring every corner of the country, taking the craziest routes and making unforgettable memories.

I became a guide not because I had to, but because I really wanted to share my passion for Georgia with visitors. It’s still my dream job! Travelling has taught me that we’re all different, and that’s why I create tailor-made tours for each of my guests.

I love showing visitors another side of Tbilisi, the one that you won’t find in the guidebooks. For example, I know the city’s socialist architecture well, from grand buildings and monuments to abandoned cable car stations, and am always finding beauty in decay.

I also love introducing people to the food scene beyond the fancy restaurants: typical diners where office workers eat, a small fast food spot that all local kids love, and an old restaurant that’s still popular today.

Our guide was exceptionally good and very informative. Her knowledge was encyclopaedic and was delivered enthusiastically and with humour.
A great tour
We read several reviews and all mentioned a sensational tour guide - Maria.

So, after flying into Tbilisi on Saturday afternoon, a nice stroll through Tbilisi on Sunday was considered a great way to get a better understanding of the city, defined landmarks and soak up the incredible history and culture of Georgia.
The booking and attention to detail is professional (multiple emails, personal text message from Maria) before you arrive, provides a nice degree of comfort about your booking.
The tour itself is absolutely first class, Maria loves Tbilisi and is incredibly knowledgeable of its history.
You feel as if a good friend is showing you around...Maria is a huge asset to the company and a fabulous individual.
Simply - this tour is the first tour you MUST complete before looking further afield for other tours outside Tbilisi.
Super informative tour that is a must when visiting Tbilisi. Toma was excellent.
I really enjoyed this tour, hosted in this case by Maria’s highly knowledgeable partner George. We proceeded fluidly through the “as advertised” itinerary of an eclectic array of sights and experiences that spanned a couple of Millenia, all linked together by George’s well-informed and considered commentary. It puts the whole city into a vivid historical and cultural context, besides conferring a basic grasp of its geography and widely varied culinary and other attractions.
Enough said - though certainly not all. “Just do it”

Excellent trip and hike
A glorious daytrip into the Kazbegi mountain region with Maria and her excellent driver. The day is long but doesn't feel exhausting as the scenery is exquisite. Lunch at Rooms hotel is followed by an easy hike to a waterfall, with Maria sharing her vast knowledge of the region. A must-do!
Beautiful Scenery
I had a great day trip with Maria and it didn't feel like we were on a tour but more of exploring as I get local insights from her. Signagi is definitely beautiful and I'm glad to have gone to experience wine tasting here. I highly recommend booking a tour with her.
More than I even dared to hope for !!!
A day trip to Armenie ? I was not sure - Georgie is such a great country and so much to discover and one day in Armenia what will I learn and see anyway ? .... How wrong was I and how happy am I that I booked this tour ! Together with my partner we did the tour with Maria and her too funny driver (she is the best driver of Georgie and don´t worry she is also a nurse ...) and we did not stop talking the whole day - so many stories, questions, discussions, ideas and especially the most beautiful legends she can tell you. Do not even think about it - just book the tour and you really get an idea of Armenie - see the most beautiful monasteries - get an idea of USSR footprint in the country and will meet so many great people. For sure you end the day with the biggest smile !
Great tour!
Very well organized tour. Knowledgeable and easy going guide. Highly recommend this tour.
