Description
With this tour you have a possibility to visit several unique sites of Georgia.
First stop will be Uplistsikhe cave town which is 1.5 hours of drive from Tbilisi. Uplistsikhe is an ancient town carved in rock and the only site of Georgia which dates back to Hellenistic period and is remained above the ground, built by slaves ruled by pagans and high society it has a vibe and history that must be explored.
Later on the way back we will visit UNESCO-listed Mtskheta town, the cradle of statehood and Christianity of Georgia here you can burgeon on famous bazaar of souvenirs, local treats and spices, also check out UNESCO-listed Svetitskhoveli cathedral of 11 century and dive deep in middle ages of Georgia.
Our last stop will be UNESCO-listed Jvari Monastery near Tbilisi, which dates back to the 6th century. With panoramic views of Mtskheta and surrounding hills.
Later on with impressions for life we will drive to Tbilisi (20-30 min) and voila! you have yourself a day ^_^
