The complex in Tsinandali embraces the memorial house, a landscape garden, a historical winery, wine cellar, hotel and a café. We offer you a pleasurable and informative experience: you will look into the background of the noble Chavchavadze family, who played a significant part in the national history; enjoy the views of the garden, have a look at the winery and sample the “Tsinandali” (first produced by the Chavchavadzes).
We will also see Wine Tunnel at Winery Khareba. The winery is set in an 8-kilometre-long tunnel under a mountain. Here, you’ll hear the history of Georgian wine and have the opportunity to do a tasting (not included in the price). You’ll also have a chance to purchase high-quality and prize-winning Georgian wines, honey, grape-seed oil, and traditional Georgian churchkhela (candy).
You’ll see the toy-like town of Signagi, with its red roofs, tiny streets, and a marvelous view over the Alazani Valley.
You’ll also visit the ancient Bodbe Monastery, which is lovingly taken care of by the nuns, as well as a traditional family-run winery.
