Although it was dug up and used by cavalry in World War I, it was reopened in 1934 as the biggest rosarium in Eastern Europe. It now is a favourite past time for locals as well as the host of numerous festivals like the Festival of Hearts, Street Food festival.
In august it also hosts the outdoor Opera and Operetta festival, a great musical event you should join if in the area!
