You can start from one end of Timisoara and bike to the border with Serbia on an uninterrupted bike exclusive lane. Approximately 75km of smooth bike riding. The bike trail takes you through different parts of the city from suburbs to city center to country terrain.

Romania has more then 200+ days per year with sunshine. During most days people will be going to the Romanian-Serbian border as a family activity and to stop over for small picnics and just watch local fauna near the Bega river.
Special tip
You can bike to Serbia and when returning you can stop in one of the Hot springs on the route back.
