The ex–nuclear bunker, build to accommodate Communist Dictator Hoxha in the event of an attack, tells us the story of the dictator’s time through photographs, items and documents. Declassified as a structure in 2014, at the end of 2016 was opened for the public to discover in an artistic exposé the timeline of the horribly repressing 50 years.
The tunnels and chambers inside the museum BUNK'ART 1 is dedicated to the history of the Albanian communist army and to the daily lives of Albanians during the regime. The Ex-Nuclear bunker is historic, artistic and a bit scary at the beginning but worth every penny.
