Why locals love it
This is one of the most interesting museums in Minsk. It's both classical and modern: classical because it's home to the usual collections (the Dark Ages, the Middle Ages, the 19th century and war times, as well as coins, emblems and arms etc.) and modern as it hosts many contemporary exhibitions.
Why you should visit it
The National History Museum usually holds interesting interactive historical performances and parties on important days such as the Day of the City and Museum Day.
Special tip
It's my favourite museum in Minsk. Closed on Mondays.
