Why locals love it

It's one of the biggest parks in Tokyo and very popular during weekends. People usually have picnic here especially during April is a must see for cherry blossom and autumn for the red leaves (not in summer because it's really hot and humid). There is a pond in the middle of the park too, that makes a really nice scenery!

Why you should visit it

This is actually how a lot of people living in Tokyo spend their weekend – in Yoyogi Park (Yoyogi Koen). The park is really clean and you might see many artists, musicians, runners and the very popular rockabilly dancers, who gather at the harajuku entrance every Sunday and perform 1950s rock 'n roll.

Special tip

After visiting Meiji Jingu and Harajuku neighborhood, come here and chill with your friends! Cherry blossoms are beautiful here!
