The Pahnila's Museum is located in the beautiful waterfront landscape of Simonkylä, where many of the old building stock has been preserved. The oldest of the Pahnila buildings in their original location date from the late 19th century. The museum displays a wealth of the house's original artifacts.
Simoniemi village and Simonkylä represent village settlements in the Bay of Bothnia coastal area, where sea fishing has been an important industry alongside agriculture. There are signs for the museum. Open from 8th of June to 11th of August.
