The ruins of the Kaaraneskoski blast furnace from 1805 testify to a pioneering, early effort to process natural raw materials industrially in northern Finland. The gray-stone lower part of the blast furnace has remained an intact structure in the dam basin of the power plant, the water level of which varies and rises heavily.

The Möyly area, which includes about 760 hectares of state-owned land in the city of Kemi. The outer boundary of seal protection areas shall be at least one nautical mile (1852 m) from the seal dam or credit group. As a general rule, fishing is prohibited in the protected area. Hunting in seal sanctuaries is completely prohibited.

The stones in the area are rich in carvings. The stone next to Ailinpieti has the year 1773. The well was made in the 19th century. The barrel pook that guided the fishermen was made in the 1930s, but possibly there was a pook in the past as well. The Selkä-Sarvi's Sauna, which was still standing in the 1970s, was erected in 1833.
