Where to eat on Christmas Nitght?
(7 answers)I'm looking for a restaurant open on Christmas Night in Toronto. Even if i live in the city, I was wondering if anyone has good suggestions. Some members of my family will be in town (adults and teenagers) and we will be using the TTC or UP Express to travel. Ideally, I'm looking for a restaurant near one of the UP Express stop (Pearson, Weston, Bloor or Union). Looking for something under 40$ per person. Thanks!

Your best bet are the hotels. They all offer Christmas Day dinners. Unfortunately they might be more than $40 though.
There is always Chinese Restaurants. They are always open Christmas Day. Chinatown could be fun!

There are a couple of restaurants that should fit your requirements on this list:

You could look into dinner at the RoyalnYork Hotel. Right across the street from Union station. Most of the major hotels have a traditional Christmas dinner. Not much else will be open, unless you want to eat in Chinatown. Frans may still be serving Christmas dinner on Shuter St across from Massey Hall. Your best bet would be the Royal York. Might be a little above your budget when you include taxes and tip.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas dinner with the family.

Two options... one traditional and the other a bit hipper:
The Old Mill would be a lovely option.
It offers a Christmas Day buffet in a charming location. That said, it doesn’t quite fall within your $40 budget.

Price $54.95* per person / children 6 – 11 years $26.95*
Children 5 and under Free
The Drake Hotel might fit the bill. Their dinner is $35/per person
