Why locals love it

This architectural compound is a 2000 years mix of Piedmontese history. It was erected by Romans as a Porta Decumana for a defensive function and then used as residence of the Royal House of the Savoy family. It was embellished with a great facade by Filippo Juvarra, the first architect of the Savoy Family XVII century.

Why you should visit it

Madama Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage double-faced building, unique in Turin. Inside it hosts the Civic Museum of Ancient Art.

Features some really cool exhibitions which alternate every few months. It also offers one of the best views of the downtown area from the top of it's towers.

This Palazzo has an small but amazing collection of antique art ... we were pleasantly enraptured by its ground floor collection. The palazzo itself is spectacular. Highly recommend :)
